With the existing 2 acres of land adjacent to Abhiman Studio still not cleared for Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial, the additional two acres of land allotted by Karnataka government on Dr Vishnuvardhana Road = that is very near to actual place of cremation is at the final shape now.

The two acres of land cleared all hassles for setting up of Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial. The new land allotted and government has allocated Rs.11 crores on the setting up of Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial.

On 5th death anniversary of legendary actor Dr Vishnuvardhana 30th of December the foundation to the memorial is laid by Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah.

The land located is on the opposite site of Abhiman Studio adjacent place, on Dr Vishnuvardhana Road where Dr Vishnuvardhana was consigned to flames is 2 acres of land. At this place the work for memorial starts very soon.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is also releasing ‘Sahasa Simha Comics -2’ brought out by Amara Chitra Katha in association with Keerthi Vishnuvardhana daughter of Dr Vishnu. Dr Vishnu grand children Jyeshta and Shloka are also part of this comic book.

Meanwhile on 30th December at the memorial place of Dr Vishnuvardhana various health camps are conducted from morning 9 am.
